Maidstone: Person hit by car on Hermitage Lane airlifted to hospital

A woman has been hit by a car off Hermitage Lane, Maidstone.

Kent Police were called at 3.40pm to reports of a woman being hit by a car.

South East Coast Ambulance Service (Secamb) were called at 3.32pm to the low speed collision.

Secamb sent a car, ambulance, and air ambulance.

The elderly lady suffered foot and head injuries and was taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury for further treatment.

Kent County Council Highways have confirmed that there is no congestion in the area as traffic is running as usual down the road.
