X Factor finalist Paije Richardson may not have won over the judges but he certainly impressed the crowds at a Maidstone nightclub.

The singer belted out a range of hits at Liquid and Envy nightclub, in Lockmeadow, Hart Street.

Paije, whose mentor was Dannii Minogue, appeared at the club on Friday night - five days after he left the talent show the previous Sunday (November 21).

The talented soloist is the seventh X Factor finalist to perform their first live UK performance at the popular nightspot, thanks to a exclusive deal with the KM Group.

Every Sunday, the act who leaves the show by the judges’ vote, or deadlock, will head straight to Maidstone the following Friday.

This week, clubbers will be treated to a performance by one of the programme’s most controversial acts, Wagner.

Fellow contestant Katie Waissel, who faced mixed reviews each week, also left the show on Sunday (November 28) in a double eviction, but she will not perform at Liquid and Envy as she received the lowest amount of public votes.

Only the acts voted off the show by the judges will appear at the club.

Be sure to pick up a copy of your Kent Messenger to be in with a chance of winning our What’s On magazine’s exclusive tickets - but be quick as entry lines close at 4pm every Friday.
