Motorcyclist taken to hospital after crash on A249 junction with Chalky Road in Stockbury, Maidstone

A motorcyclist remains in hospital with serious injuries after being struck in a hit and run.

The crash happened on the A249 at the junction with Chalky Road, in Stockbury, Maidstone at around 2.50pm on Saturday (May 13) .

During the incident the driver of a white van collided with the driver of a red, white and blue BMW S1000 motorbike.

The van driver did not stay at the scene and the biker remains in hospital.
