Man arrested after serious assault in Snodland

A man suffered a serious cut to his face in an attack outside a pub in Snodland on Sunday.
The 52-year-old man was rushed to hospital following the attack which happened in the car park outside The Bull in Snodland, just after midnight.
It is thought a weapon was used in the attack which arose during a confrontation outside the Holborough Road pub, although one has not yet been recovered.
The man was taken to Maidstone Hospital and has since been discharged.
Police have arrested a 48-year-old man from Snodland on suspicion of grievous bodily harm following the assault.
He has been bailed pending further inquiries until Tuesday, October 25.
