Three men dressed as tramps, playing washboards and pots and pans are Maidstone's contribution to the Glastonbury festival this weekend.

Hobo Jones and the Junkyard Dogs were booked to play the Avalon Stage and several other slots.

The trio – Hobo, Wino Tyrone and Miser Bill – will also be busking around the site.

Lead singer Hobo said their main worry had been packing: “So far we’ve got 37 bottles of cider, four packets of Hobnobs and one wellington boot.”

Their latest album, Skunk and Disorderly, will be available soon from www.hobojones.com
