This is the moment a van almost collided with oncoming traffic while overtaking a cyclist this morning.

The cyclist, Ahmed Nuaman, took the footage using his helmet camera.

The near-miss happened in Plough Wents Road, in Chart Sutton.

Mr Nuaman uploaded the footage to his YouTube channel, where he posts videos of dangerous driving he sees while out cycling.

But this wasn't the only moment of danger that he witnessed this morning, with another incident occurring before his eyes in Sutton Road.

This time, the driver of a white Hyundai skirted past Mr Nuaman as he was cycling towards a traffic island in between the carriageways.

The video shows the cyclist approaching the central platform when the car appears to his right.

The driver speeds away, driving in between the left hand lane and a central filter lane for traffic turning right.
