A fourth man has been charged with aggravated burglary after a terrifying break-in that ended in an armed police siege.

David Stuart Milner, 33, of Beech Road, Biggin Hill, was arrested yesterday afternoon and later charged with aggravated burglary.

Three men have already been charged with the same offence in connection with a burglary that ended in a siege.

Zak Price, 23, of Goldsmid Road, Tonbridge, appeared at Sevenoaks Magistrates' Court today with Jack Menzies, 21, of Parkview Road in Eltham, south east London.

Aaron Wall, 21, of Hill View, Borough Green, previously appeared at Maidstone Magistrates' Court.

All three have been remanded in custody.

Milner is due to appear Milner before Maidstone Magistrates’ Court later today.

It comes after residents in Hunt Road, Tonbridge awoke to the sound of armed police ordering a man out of his house on March 19.

Chris Derrick, 42, described how he was bundled into the back of a van, only to be released without charge about half an hour later.

Police were looking for a group of masked intruders, who had broken into a property in Four Elms near Edenbridge, and allegedly threatened the occupants with a handgun, before escaping with a large amount of jewellery.

Anyone with information concerning Milner's whereabouts is asked to phone DI John McDermott or DS Andy Nicol at Kent Police on 101 - quoting YY/5202/13 - or Kent Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111
