Maidstone: Crews tackle High Street fire

Firefighters are at the scene of a shop on fire in a town centre.

Crews were called to Maidstone High Street at around 5.15pm following reports of a small fire in the back of a shop.

Two fire engines were seen parked in nearby Pudding Lane while crews entered the shop wearing breathing apparatus.

Nobody was injured during the fire which took place in the store room.
