Manager Tommy Warrilow apologised to the travelling fans after Tonbridge Angels lost 4-1 at Farnborough on Saturday.

Warrilow (pictured) said the performance was "completely unacceptable" as Angels suffered their first league defeat in 10 matches.

Angels handed a debut to defender Gary Elphick following his arrival from Blue Square Bet South rivals Eastleigh but the visitors trailed 2-0 at the break as Nic Ciardini's fourth-minute opener was followed by a Dan Bennet strike on 22 minutes.

Frannie Collin cut the gap from the penalty four minutes into the second half but Boro restored their two-goal cushion through Dave Tarpey a minute later before Reece Connolly secured the points on 72 minutes.

The result saw Angels slip to 17th.
