POLICE have renewed their appeal for information following a sexual assault on a 14-year-old boy and have released an efit of the culprit.

The victim was cycling along Ashford Road, Maidstone, when the offender, also on a pedal cycle, touched him inappropriately as he rode past.

The offender is then reported to have followed the victim until he took refuge in a local garage.

The incident happened at around 6.15pm on Thursday, July 6. The man police wish to question is described as white with a tanned complexion, thought to be aged between 30 to 35, and around 5ft 10in tall.

He had short brown hair and stubble. He was carrying a grey and black bag across his chest. The bike he was riding was blue on the top half of the main frame and the handles had blue and black stripes. There was a light reflector on the back of the bike.

Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or saw a male matching the description given, or the e-fit.
