Two lanes are currently closed on the westbound-carriageway of the M20 between junctions 9 (Ashford) and 8 (Leeds) while vehicles are recovered from an earlier accident.

A car and a lorry were involved n a collision at 5.50am this morning and ended up on the embankment.

No injuries were reported.

Recovery work is ongoing by the Highways Agency. Expect long delays.

The motorway was already extra busy with traffic heading for the County Show at Detling.
