Duo sought after teenage victim hands over cash

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 19-year-old man was forced to hand over cash to two men.

The man was walking along Bower Mount Road, Maidstone, towards the junction with Oakwood Road at around 9.30pm on Wednesday, September 6, when he was approached by two men. They demanded he gave them money and he handed over £2.

The duo then threatened him and attempted to punch him before he was able to run away.

Both men are described as white, approximately 20 to 30-years-old and around 5ft 9in tall.

One was said to be wearing a white vest top and a white and blue striped basketball cap. The other wore a blue long-sleeved shirt with the buttons undone and was carrying a green carrier bag of beer. He is also believed to have a moustache.
