Drugs arrest in Maidstone

A 36-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of dealing heroin.

He was arrested after a police search warrant was carried out at an address in Bower Place, Maidstone.

The man, from the Maidstone area, was arrested on suspicion of possessing heroin with intent to supply and theft of a bicycle.

He has been bailed until June 7, 2010 while police make further inquiries.

Borough commander for Maidstone, Ch Insp David Pascoe, said: "Illegal drugs and the criminality that goes with them will not be tolerated in Maidstone.
