Driver stabbed in the arm at Larkfield

A 42 year old man was stabbed in the arm while sitting in his car in stationary traffic.

The man was in his car outside the Methodist Church, New Hythe Lane, Larkfield, last Saturday afternoon when he was approached by another man, whom he knew.

An argument broke out and the victim suffered an injury to his arm, believed to have been caused by a kitchen knife. He was taken to hospital for treatment.

A 34 year old East Malling man was later arrested at an address in Barming and is still in police custody.

Two other people arrested were given police bail.
