Diamond ring snatched from jewellers

A YOUNG man wearing a cream and blue Timberland baseball cap stole a diamond ring from a jewellers in Gabriels Hill, Maidstone.

Police spokeswoman Gianna Pollero said: "The incident happened at about 2.55pm on December 4 when a man posing as a customer snatched the ring and made off.

"It was later recovered but the offender has still not been arrested."

The thief is described as white man, in his late 20s, 6ft tall, slim, with short, brown hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a navy blue parka type jacket, tracksuit bottoms and dirty white trainers.
