M2 crash: Traffic delays between J5 for Sittingbourne and J4 for Gillingham

Traffic queues have eased after a crash on the M2 London-bound carriageway this morning.

Police briefly held traffic while they cleared the accident between J5 for Sittingbourne and Maidstone and J4 for Gillingham.

That has now re-opened, with the vehicles now on the hard shoulder.

But a second accident on the M2 caused extra delays, and the two-lorry crash on the M20 hasn't helped.

It was earlier affecting traffic towards the county show.
