Emergency services were called to a crash involving two vehicles in Aylesford this morning.

The call came in just after 8am to reports of a collision in Forstal Road at the junction with Rochester Road.

The road is partially blocked and motorists are advised to allow extra time for their journeys.

No serious injuries were reported. Officers will remain on the scene until the vehicles have been recovered.

The incident comes after another crash has caused traffic chaos on the M20 in Maidstone. Town centre roads are also congested.

The road re-opened shortly 10am.
