Kent Police detectives hunt burglars who left home in Queens Road empty-handed

Detectives are on the hunt for a gang of burglars who broke into a house and were chased by their victim.

The incident happened at around 5pm on Wednesday when three men were disturbed by the owners inside a private address on Queens Road.

One of the victims was pushed over as the suspects ran from the premises. They were chased by a second resident to a silver or grey four-door hatchback car driven by a fourth man which was parked at the junction with Langdale Rise.

The victim told police he damaged the car windscreen with a glass bottle and the men threatened him before the vehicle drove off towards London Road.

One of the suspects is described as white, in his early 20s, 5ft 10in tall, of slim build and wearing dark clothing and a black and white scarf over his face.

Two of the others are described as white and wearing dark clothing with white scarves over their faces.

It was later established nothing had been stolen from the premises.
