Boy rushed to hospital after Hollingbourne crash

Paramedics rushed a young boy to hospital after a two-car crash last week.

Emergency services descended on Hollingbourne Hill, near the junction with Ringlestone Road on Friday, January 26, after a two-car crash.

Firefighters were called to the scene, along with Kent Police, ambulance and air ambulance crews.

According to the accident log, an air ambulance crew was sent to the scene, but its crew travelled with the boy to King's College Hospital by road.

A spokesperson from KFRS said: "We were called to Hollingbourne Hill at 5.33pm on Friday.

"On arrival we discovered all passengers were out of their vehicles.

"We helped to make the scene safe and provided lighting."

Two fire engines were sent to the scene.

A spokesperson from Secamb confirmed a patient was taken from the scene with "potentially serious" injuries.

We have approached Kent Police for comment.
