Body found in search for missing homeless man Ronald Mosney

Friends have been paying tribute to a pensioner who was found dead in a park.

Homeless Ronald Mosney, 88, went missing at the weekend.

His body was found by officers searching Mote Park, Maidstone, at around 10.20am on Wednesday, December 23.

Friends of Mr Mosney, who was well known around Maidstone said he would be "very missed".

Mr Mosney was reported missing on Tuesday after not being seen since Saturday evening and failing to turn up to a regular Sunday morning appointment.

A police spokesman said the death is not being treated as suspicious.
