Arrest after Ferrari crashes into car and tree

A FERRARI collided with an oncoming vehicle and then crashed into a tree after apparently being driven on the wrong side of a dual carriageway.

The sports car was being driven on the A249 up Detling Hill, near Maidstone, at about 8.30pm on Monday night.

Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the scene.

A 39-year-old man from Strood has been arrested in connection with the incident. He has been charged with drink driving and is due to appear before Maidstone magistrates next week.
