Air ambulance called to crash site

The Kent Air Ambulance was called to the A249, at the Three Squirrels pub near Detling, after a collision between a car and a motorbike on Friday afternoon.

Two people riding on the motorbike were injured in the crash, which happened just before 5pm.

One lane was closed while police, ambulance crews and firefighters attended the accident, and traffic was reported as "moving, but very slowly" at 5.30pm.

The car involved had been towing a caravan.
