The A20 London Road in Maidstone has been re-opened with police directing traffic after an earlier accident near the junction with Queen's Road.

Officers were called at midday to an accident involving a bus.

The carriageway was partially blocked as a result of the accident and emergency services are still at the scene.

However, police say there were no serious injuries.

The bus collided with railings and there were no other vehicles involved.
