A pizza firm featured on national television has seen its takings boosted dramatically.

Pizza GoGo franchisee Mansour Gholami, who runs the fast food franchise in Tonbridge Road, Maidstone, was featured in Channel 4’s Undercover Boss programme last week.

He was shown unwittingly getting company boss Fouad Haghighat to clean up and do menial tasks, but Mr Haghighat was so impressed with his work ethic, he rewarded him by making him a company training ambassador.

Since the show was aired, the shop in Tonbridge Road has been inundated with orders.
He said: “The shop has been incredibly busy; it has been unbelievable.
“I had no idea who he was. I have just been working hard; my wife and my son too, always working really hard.”
His pizza dough, from his own recipe, was also praised by Mr Haghighat as being the best he’d ever eaten.
In an emotional end to the programme, Mr Gholami was told he would be made an ambassador and that the company would be sending the whole family on a well-earned holiday.
He told the KM: “I was in shock; I couldn’t believe it. But it felt good.
“Since the programme was on, I have had lots of people coming up to me talking about it and the phones have been going mad."
