TEENAGE golfer Adam Hedges has set himself on course for success after winning the Birchwood Park Junior Open.

The 16-year-old, who is a member of Sundridge Park Golf Club, fought off competition from 63 other youngsters to claim the trophy as well as a new mountain bike.

The recent Open was the second such tournament, having being originally introduced to provide a platform for rising golf hopefuls to help improve their skills.
