Welling staged a rousing second half comeback to bag all three points against big-spending Havant in Blue Square South on Saturday.

The Wings trailed to Craig Watkins's 21st-minute goal - but strikers Charlie Sheringham and Moses Ademola hit back to secure the win.

Welling dominated the first half but fell behind when a free-kick was half cleared and Watkins fired in from 20 yards.

The Wings had earlier gone close through Ademola and once behind Sheringham was off target from close range before Sanchez Ming saw his goal-bound shot deflected wide.

Havant lost their way in the second period with the tone set within 50 seconds when Charlton's on loan midfielder Harry Artur strode forward and sent a cracking 25-yard shot crashing back off the woodwork.

The visitors should have been reduced to 10 men when Luke Nightingale elbowed Jack Parkinson but the referee only showed a yellow card.

Artur then had a free-kick deflected wide and Welling's pressure told when Lee Blackburn's corner was headed back across goal and Sheringham turned the ball in from close range.

Welling deservedly made it 2-1 on 66 minutes when Ademola robbed Brett Poate on the edge of the penalty area before producing a neat finish.

Havant introduced former Welling striker Paul Booth late on but they failed to trouble keeper Charlie Mitten in the second half and the final whistle brought ugly scenes as their fans voiced their anger over another away defeat.

Bromley took maximum points with a comfortable home win over Fisher Athletic.

Warren McBean set them on their way six minutes before half-time when he followed up to score after Ashley Paul-Robinson's initial effort had come back off the upright.

It was 2-0 on 56 minutes when Ali Chaaban hooked in his first competitive goal for the club after a strong run and cross from full-back Aaron Dalhouse.

The game was put beyond any doubt in the 73rd minute when Chaaban turned provider to set up McBean who beat keeper Stuart Robinson from the edge of the box.
