Weston-super-Mare v Welling

WELLING will hand a debut to new defender Max Hustwick at Weston on Saturday.

The 25-year-old centre-back became new manager Andy Ford's third signing this week and will go straight into the defence with leon Solomon (knee) doubtful and Sonny Cobbs suspended.

Ford said: "Max comes highly recommended and was part of the Lewes team that won promotion a couple of years ago.

"We need to tighten up defensively, for sure after last week."

Orhan Stewart and Amos Foyewa will also feature in the squad but one man definitely ruled out is striker Ellis Remy, who was due to undergo a hernia operation on Friday.

Ford will be boosted, however, by the return to fitness of Robbie Ryan, who was rated 80-20 in favour of playing.

Welling's postponed home match with Newport has been re-arranged for Wednesday, February 27.
