Walsall 1 - Gillingham 1

A LATE goal by Mark Saunders salvaged a point for the Gills against relegation threatened Walsall.

Saunders came off the bench to score his first goal of the season in the 87th minute.

The home side had taken the lead through Moreira Herivelto after 32 minutes.

It was the Brazilian's first goal since December following good work by the tireless Don Goodman.

Points are hard to come by for Gillingham at the Bescot Stadium as the team has not won there for 10 years.
