Gillingham 0 – 1 Blackpool

BLACKPOOL are leading Gillingham at half-time in this afternoon’s League 1 clash at Priestfield.

Gillingham made most of the early running but fell behind in the 22nd minute when Kiegan Parker slotted home after Jon Murphy had laid the ball off.

Gills chances were limited in the first 25 minutes but Andrew Crofts should have picked out Neil Harris with a cross after a Blackpool defensive error, but his pass was too far in front of the forward.

Gillingham began to put pressure on the Blackpool defence in the closing stages of the half and Mike Flynn was unlucky to see his fine effort cannon back off the crossbar.

Gillingham: Bullock, Wallis, Cox, Hope, Williams, Hessenthaler, Smith, Flynn, Crofts, Jarvis, Harris.
Subs: Crichton, Rose, Saunders, Corneille, Collin.
