Tuesday night football round-up

IT WAS an awful night for the county's Ryman League Premier Division sides as not a single one recorded a victory.

Maidstone United are still without a point or a goal after their promotion to the division.

An Ade Olorunda hat-trick helped send the Stones crashing to their heaviest league defeat for three years at Hastings United.

A Nathan Paul own goal completed Maidstone's misery as they were hammered 4-0.

Folkestone Invicta also remain pointless as an early Horsham penalty condemned them to a 1-0 away defeat.

Danny Harris and Jamie Richards sent Margate home from their first away test of the season at East Thurrock United with a 2-0 loss.

In the Kent derby in the division, Ramsgate and Tonbridge Angels took a point each after a 1-1 draw.

Ollie Schulz gave the home side a 16th minute lead before Steve Harper snatched a last gasp point for the Angels.

But it was a better night for Dartford who notched their first victory in Ryman League Division 1 North as goals from Adam Flanagan, Jay May and Steve Norman earned them a 3-0 success at Wivenhoe Town.

Tony Kessell also saved a penalty to preserve a clean sheet for the Darts.

Sittingbourne have six points out of six after a home win over Leatherhead. Goals from Bradley Spice and Anthony Hogg saw the Brickies come from a goal down to win 2-1.

Ashford Town got their first win of the campaign at Kent rivals Chatham Town.

Whitstable Town went down to a 2-1 defeat at Metropolitan Police, despite a goal from the aptly-named Andy Constable.
