Tough assignment for new Lillywhites boss

Hampton & Richmond v Bromley

BROMLEY will aim to extend their mini unbeaten run to four matches when they travel to Hampton & Richmond.

It will be the toughest match so far for new boss Simon Osborn, who led his team to a 1-1 draw at Bath last weekend.

Hampton won 2-1 at leaders Lewes last weekend and have an impressive home record, having lost only two league games at Beveree Stadium.

Osborn will have his work cut out for Bromley to produce the kind of flowing football he wants on a notoriously heavy pitch against a side known for their route one football.

Osborn said: "I have always tried to play football the right way, getting the ball down, passing and creating chances.

"Of course, I want to do this while still winning games so I am prepared to concentrate on being solid at the back as well."

It will be the first game for Bromley since they sold forward Garath McCleary to League 1 outfit Nottingham Forest for an undisclosed fee earlier this week.
