Gillingham v Rotherham

Mark Stimson has warned his Gillingham players to be on their guard against Rotherham when the teams face each other in League 2 at Priestfield on Saturday.

The Gillingham manager believes Rotherham will pose the club's toughest test this season, despite being in the bottom four.

Rotherham were deducted 17 points by the Football League at the start of the season after failing to exit administration by the necessary route.

Despite the penalty, the Millers moved into positive points after nine games and now find themselves 12 points clear of the relegation zone.

Stimson said: "This will be our toughest test so far. We are going to be playing against a good side. If they didn't have their problems in the summer then they'd be sitting in the play-offs.

"We've got to be ready for them, but we go into the game on the back of two good wins and there is no reason we should fear them.

"Rotherham have got a couple of decent players and they are used to winning games this year. That's a great habit to get into."

The Gills boss has warned his players to be wary of the threat posed by Rotherham's leading scorer Reuben Reid.

He added: "Both him (Reuben Reid) and Alex Rhodes are very important to the way they play. They are both very direct and they get into the box and score goals. Our full-backs are going to have to be on their game and also our centre-backs. If any balls are thrown into the box we've got to deal with them.

"Whoever plays up-front for Rotherham will have a physical presence so we've got to be able to match that as well."

Mark McCammon (hamstring) and Simeon Jackson (ankle) are both rated 50/50 to face Rotherham but Stimson is not willing to take any risks.

Dennis Oli (foot) will miss the game through injury while Nicky Southall is available again. Southall missed the game against Bury because he was cup-tied having played in the competition while on-loan at Dover.
