Spitfires to face the Foxes in cup's last eight

KENT will face an away trip to take on the Leicestershire Foxes after Tuesday's Twenty20 Cup quarter-final draw.

Spitfires qualified for the last eight despite losing their last two qualifiers and will now face the long boundaries of Grace Road and canny captaincy of Jeremy Snape on the evening of Monday, July 24.

Leicestershire are something of a specialist Twenty20 county having made finals day for each of the first three years of the competition.

Quarter-final draw: Essex v Yorkshire, Leicestershire v Kent, Gloucestershire v Surrey, Nottinghamshire v Northamptonshire.
