THE Pakistan Cricket Board held a public memorial service for Bob Woolmer as the investigation into the death of the former Kent and England player gathers momentum.

Players and officials from the Pakistan team attended Sunday's service at the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Lahore to pay their respects to the ex-county all-rounder and internationally renowned coach who died on March 18, just hours after Pakistan's shock defeat to Ireland.

PCB officials have confirmed two senior Pakistan police officers will travel to the Caribbean to assist Jamaican Police.

A small team of officers from Scotland Yard has also flown out to Kingston to review the investigation to date and offer specialist help inspecting CCTV footage from the Pegasus Hotel, where the 58-year-old was found dead, and to assist in reviewing the hard drive of Woolmer's computer.

Police are still working on the theory that Woolmer was murdered.
