Ryman Premier Division round-up

Margate took the honours in a Kent derby at Princes Park, with a 1-0 away win over Dartford.

James Gregory’s goal on 17 minutes was enough to separate the sides, after he pounced on a misplaced clearance from Dartford keeper Andrew Young.

Ramsgate had to settle for a point at Southwood after squandering a 2-0 half time lead against Canvey Island.

Lee Minshull’s 24th minute shot got the Rams started, followed three minutes later, when Jay May got on the end of a fizzing cross by Steffan Ball.

Canvey found their feet after the interval, despite Richard Halle being dismissed for his second yellow card in the 53rd minute. John Curran pulled one back on 59 for the men from Essex, before a 90th minute goal line scramble saw them equalise through Chris Moore.
