Ramsgate's rearranged Ryman League Premier Division clash with Tooting & Mitcham ended in disappointment as the home side were thumped 4-1 on Saturday.

Paul Vines put the visitors in front after just seven minutes when he latched onto a loose ball after Rams keeper Jack Delo had parried an initial shot - and it was 2-0 10 minutes before the break when Michael Antonio netted.

The game was put beyond doubt 20 minutes from time when Joe Vines notched a third for Tooting.

Jake Eastwood nicked a goal back for the home side on 79 minutes but the three-goal lead was re-established at the death through Jason Pinnock.

Ashford are up to sixth in Ryman League Division 1 South after a 2-1 win at Metropolitan Police.

Ryan Briggs broke the deadlock three minutes into the second period when the keeper got a hand to his speculative 25-yard effort but couldn't keep it out - but scott Forester beat the offside trap to level 10 minutes later.

The winner came eight minutes from time when substitute Andy Doerr collected the ball and shot home on the turn.

Brian Glover's deflected shot deep into injury-time earned Sittingbourne all three points at Walton & Hersham to maintain their 100 per cent record on the road.

Richard Brady picked himself up after being fouled in the box to give the Brickies the lead from the penalty spot after just four minutes.

Danny Green robbed Hicham Akhazzan before racing through to equalise on 22 minutes and the game seemed to be heading for a draw until Glover's late intervention.

The result saw Sittingbourne move up to fifth in the table just a point behind their opponents.

But Whitstable remain rooted to the foot of the table after Jason Henry's 15th minute goal condemned them to a 1-0 home defeat to Leatherhead.

In Ryman League Division 1 North, late goals by Aiden Collins and Saul Obuto saw Chatham beaten 2-0 at home by Maldon Town.

Obuto received a second yellow card when he removed his shirt celebrating his goal and was sent off.
