Ryman League Division 1 round-up

TONBRIDGE Angels returned to the top of Ryman League Division 1 following a 2-1 win against Croydon Athletic at Longmead on Tuesday night.

Goals from Luke Piscina and player-manager Tony Dolby did the damage.

Angels went back to the top after the leaders before Tuesday's action, Horsham, could only manage a 3-3 draw at struggling Ashford Town.

Jim Ward's Ramsgate side remain in third place after Shaun Welford's 73rd minute strike gave them a 1-0 win at Corinthian Casuals.

But Cray Wanderers' slump continued with another defeat, this time 2-0 at home against Fleet Town, who had previously drawn all of their league matches.
