Revenge is sweet for the Dynamos

INVICTA Dynamos took revenge on Streatham Redskins with a 7-2 victory in the ENIHL Cup on Sunday.

The Redskins came into the game top of the Cup table having beaten the Mos 3-2 earlier in the season.

But Invicta kept their cup hopes alive by sending Streatham to their first defeat in the competition.

Matthew Drake gave the hosts the lead at the Gillingham Ice Bowl on 3.29 and Elliott Andrews doubled the advantage less than two minutes later.

But the Mos lost Anthony Leone to the sin-bin soon after and the Redskins took advantage of the extra man to pull one back though Fred Carnegy on 9.46.

Ken Forshee restored the home team’s two-goal cushion on 18.34 only for Streatham to pull one back five seconds before the end of the first period.

Leone made it 4-2 on 29.20 and a power play early in the third period saw Forshee get his second goal.

Andrew as added his second on 50.58 and James Fraser wrapped up the scoring two minutes from time.
