Recruitment very much on Ronnie's mind

JEPSON: looking to improve his squad
JEPSON: looking to improve his squad

Bournemouth v Gillingham

RONNIE JEPSON is likely to be on a scouting mission instead of watching his side play at Bournemouth this Saturday.

The Gillingham manager revealed: "I have got a chance of seeing a player who would be a very good addition to the squad.

"We just want a bit more quality. We have lacked quality and strength in depth and we'll be looking to solve that in the summer, which would hopefully put us back challenging at the top end of the table."

He stressed: "You need good recruitment and we have got to try and improve that."

Matt Jarvis is set to return to the squad at Bournemouth for his first action since the end of February, although Gary Mulligan (groin) is a major doubt.
