RAMSGATE boss Jim Ward says they have made unsettled Ollie Schulz the best offer ever made to a player in the club's history to keep him at Southwood.

A two-year contract remains unsigned, but Ward is convinced it is in the player's best interests to stay.

He said: " He wants to leave and play at a higher level, and we are waiting for clubs to come in, but nobody has made an acceptable offer. I want him here.

"Now he ought to get his head right and give it a right good go this season. I think he agrees with that himself, but the ball is in his court."
