Ramsgate v Bognor Regis Town

Ramsgate entertain Bognor Regis Town in an FA Trophy third qualifying round clash this Saturday, an event Jim Ward describes as a big day for the club.

If Ramsgate get through against the Blue Square South strugglers it will be the furthest they have progressed in the competition.

"It's a big day for the club," said Ward. "We're looking forward to the test. "Despite Bognor's poor league position they are a good side, full of Conference-standard players. I've had them watched a few times and we know we are in for a tough afternoon.

"Everybody's pulling together, we'll have a strong set of players to pick from and hopefully we can get a result."

Ward's squad has been boosted by the return of Lee Minshull, after the midfielder came through Wednesday's reserve defeat against Dover unscathed. Striker Steffan Ball is also expected to be fit.
