Parrish not ruling out move for Smith

Invicta Dynamos coach Kevin Parrish has refused to rule out a return for last season's top points producer Andy Smith, following the club's less-than-impressive start to the new ENIHL season.

The forward, scorer of 410 points in 146 games for Invicta, quit the EPL's Slough Jets by text message last week, without shooting a puck in anger for the Berkshire side.

"Any team at this level would want a player of Andy's quality," Parrish said. "If we were guaranteed the Andy Smith who turned up during his first season with us then I wouldn't hesitate to try and get him to return.

"At the moment though, I'm not looking at that option. If performances don't improve in the coming weeks, however, the situation could change."
