FORMER Gillingham and Folkestone Invicta player Luke Howell has signed a one-year contract with League Division Two club MK Dons.

Howell was an unused sustitute in Paul Ince's squad in their 2-1 home defeat at home to Bury on the opening day of the season on Saturday.

Howell scored three goals in 14 loan appearances from midfield for Invicta last term before being released by Gillingham at the end of last season.
