Young Kent batsman Sam Northeast has been named in the England Under-19 squad to tour South Africa early next year.

The tour, from January 6 to February 4, consists of five one-day internationals, and one Test match, as well as two Pro20 matches.

The 16-man squad was selected by Under-19 head coach Andy Pick, elite player development manager John Abrahams, international performance manager David Graveney and selector James Whittaker.
