Invicta Dynamos opened their league season with a win on Sunday night.

The Mos beat London Raiders 3-2 in NIHL South Division 1 at the Silver Blades.

It took the Mos just under two minutes to get off the mark, as Klima provided the assist for Strawson.

Fowler and Klima both fired the puck against the frame of the goal before Leone doubled the lead.

The Raiders pulled one back as Mos netminder was beaten in a one-on-one situation.

Another Klima pass opened up the Raiders and Knell slotted home the third to end the first 3-1 ahead.

The game was briefly interrupted by a fire alarm but it was a false alarm and play was resumed.

There were no more goals in the second and in the last period Mos man-of-the-match Douglas was kept busy, pulling off several good blocks.

With 51:15 on the clock, the Mos’ lead was cut to just one but the buzzer came with no further damage done, as the Gillingham team started the season with two points on the board.
