INVICTA DYNAMOS coach Kev Parrish warned his players that the National Ice Hockey League (South) will be far tougher this season after watching his side throw away a 3-0 lead at Milton Keynes Thunder on Saturday.

The home side celebrated as if they had won the game against the lacklustre champions who fell away badly in the latter stages and were indebted to goalkeeper Ian Rowland.

Parrish said: "I hope the players will treat the match as a reality check because we cannot afford to go into games thinking we only need to turn up to win."

Meanwhile, the Mos got back to winning ways with a 6-1 victory over Peterborough Islanders on Sunday.
