THE Invicta Dynamos secured their place in the English Hockey National League play-off final with two wins at Cardiff and Streatham.

Player coach Kevin Parrish said: "We’re pleased to get there with one game spare, but will still be looking to win at home to Streatham this Sunday because we want to go unbeaten and improve on last year.

"We’ve been having light sessions in training because it was a long weekend and pretty physical, but are looking forward to this weekend when we’ll be handed the league trophy, which we’ll be able to parade to our excellent fans."

Fifty fans travelled to Wales on Saturday and saw their side edge past a vastly improved Cardiff Devils 5-4. The following night, a physical encounter saw Invicta prevail 6-2 against Streatham.
