Macclesfield v Gillingham

Mark Bentley will step straight back into the Gillingham side for the Coca Cola League 2 trip to Macclesfield on Saturday.

The midfielder has completed a three-match ban after being sent off at Bradford City, and could be joined in the squad by Andrew Crofts.

Boss Mark Stimson looks set to include the transfer-listed Welsh international in the squad and he could be on the bench at Moss Rose.

The club have received no enquiries for Crofts who is available for a loan move to Championship or League 1 clubs, and scored for the reserves in midweek.

Stimson is waiting for news on striker Mark McCammon who limped off at Lincoln on Tuesday with hamstring trouble, but Simeon Jackson misses out again with an ankle injury.

The boss said: "We have to go there and be positive, and make sure we stay tight at the back, because a mad two minutes at Lincoln cost us.

"Players have to take responsibility and defend properly, and if you give people two-goal starts it makes it very hard to come back.

"We did it at Bradford, but you can't do it every other week."
