Matches off as cold snap hits

TWO of Saturday’s football fixtures have been called off as freezing weather hits the county.

Gillingham’s League 1 clash against Brentford at Priestfield was called off by referee Trevor Kettle following a pitch inspection at 10am.

Gravesend’s match at Halifax in the Nationwide Conference has also fallen victim to the weather.

Meanwhile, Dover’s Ryman League Division 1 match against Molesey has been confirmed as definitely being on.
