FORMER Charlton striker Mathias Svensson shattered his old club with an 87th minute winner at Norwich on Saturday.

The Norwich substitute had been on the field for seven minutes when he rifled the ball home from close range after Leon McKenzie had flicked on Adam Drury's long throw.

Three minutes earlier, Charlton midfielder Danny Murphy had been out of luck with a free kick that struck a post. Seconds later, Francis Jeffers had a shot scrambled off the line with Norich goalkeeper Robert Green beaten.

Charlton: Kiely, Kishishev, El Karkouri, Fortune, Young, Holland, Murphy, Hughes (Euell 62), Rommedahl, Johansson (Thomas 82), Jeffers. Subs Not Used: Andersen, Perry, Lisbie.
